Over the summer of 2024 we were tasked with creating a video animation for Cle de Peau Beauty brand of a new summer collection of beauty products.
Animation was based on previously created ad and illustrations by Shiseido Creative. We had to think of creative ways on how to transition from one scene to another and create new Pegasus 3D animations. The main challenge was to match the staircase illustration on the product, to the real 3D staircase, so we created a 3D projection of a staircase scene with textures taken from the main 2D illustration to allow a 3D camera to navigate smoothly in the scene.
Lastly we edited, added sound effects and 2D parallax animation of the illustrated city, as well as particle effects, and rotating 3D products.
Many iterations and version were created throughout the process with some concepts scrapped and redone, many hours of work went into this. You can see the result below.
